First we send you a server containing our anti-theft solution. After that, our technicians contact you to proceed with the remote installation. They will accompany you all the way to proceed with the connection. Once the installation is done, we will start receiving the first alerts on the tablet or phone provided by Veesion.
After that, our customer support team will contact you within 24 hours to train your security guards on how to use the application and discuss possible improvements or customizations.
For the moment, Veesion is focused on detecting gestures associated with shoplifting. But soon, we will be able to detect fraud in traditional or automatic checkouts.
In addition, you can receive pop-up alerts on your PC in addition to the traditional alerts.
Finally, a customer back-office will soon be available that will allow you to have an overview of the Veesion results in the different points of sales by filtering by date on our application
The person in charge of the video surveillance system is free to determine the duration of the conservation of the video surveillance images according to the objective pursued by the cameras.
Nevertheless, the legal duration of conservation is 30 days, except in exceptional cases. Indeed, in case of legal proceedings, the duration of conservation can be extended. If the images prove to be necessary for an investigation and can be used as proof following a security incident, the 30-day rule can be waived.
It should be noted that the need for retention is re-evaluated regularly.
No Veesion does not sell video surveillance hardware. We only provide you with a small server on which our software is hosted. This server is implemented on a pre-existing video surveillance system.
Although we do not sell surveillance cameras, we are partners with many suppliers. We can therefore advise you and direct you towards good surveillance equipment.
